If you are starting from downtown Milwaukee, head to the Milwaukee Public Market located at 400 N Water St. From there, take the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 30 towards the 'Northpoint' stop. The bus will take you north towards Lake Michigan. Get off at the 'Northpoint' stop, which is the closest stop to the North Point Light Station. From the bus stop, walk east towards the lake, and you will find the Oak Leaf Trail. Follow the trail north, and you will soon see the North Point Light Station.

Bicycle
If you prefer a more active route, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Milwaukee, such as Bublr Bikes. Start at the Milwaukee Art Museum, which is located on the lakefront. From there, head north on the Lakefront Trail. Continue along the trail until you reach the Oak Leaf Trail. Once you reach the Oak Leaf Trail, turn east and follow the signs towards the North Point Light Station. It’s a scenic ride along the lakeshore and should take approximately 20-30 minutes.

If you are close to the Milwaukee Art Museum or the nearby lakeshore, you can take a leisurely walk to North Point Light Station. Start at the Milwaukee Art Museum and walk along the lakefront, heading north along the paved path. Keep heading toward the north until you see signs for the Oak Leaf Trail. Once you reach the trail, follow it eastward. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30-40 minutes, offering beautiful views of Lake Michigan along the way.
