Public Transit - Bus
If you are starting from downtown Milwaukee, walk to the nearest bus stop on W Wisconsin Ave. Look for the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 30. Board the bus heading north. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. After you pass the intersection of W Keefe Ave and N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr, prepare to get off. Alight at the bus stop nearest to N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr. From the bus stop, walk north along N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr for about 5 minutes. You will find Historic King PLACE on your left.
Walking
If you are in the Harambee neighborhood, head to N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr. The area is easily walkable. You can start at the corner of W Center St and N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr. Walk south on N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr for about 10 minutes. You will see Historic King PLACE on your right, just past the intersection with W Burleigh St.
Biking
For those renting bikes in Milwaukee, head to the Milwaukee Riverwalk and follow it north. You can connect to the Oak Leaf Trail, which leads to the northern parts of the city. As you approach the Harambee neighborhood, follow the signs towards N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr. It should take about 20 minutes of biking from the Riverwalk to reach Historic King PLACE. Once you reach N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr, you will find the site on your left.
