    From downtown Milwaukee, walk to the Milwaukee Intermodal Station (located at 433 W St Paul Ave). From there, board the MCTS bus number 30 (GreenLine) towards the Milwaukee Public Market. Ride for about 10 minutes and disembark at the 'N Broadway & E St Paul' stop. From there, walk east on E St Paul Ave, which will turn into E Erie St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the lakeshore. You will see the Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse at the end of the pier.

    If you are near the Historic Third Ward, head towards the lakefront by walking east on E St Paul Ave. Continue straight until you reach the lake, which should take about 15 minutes.
