Getting There

    From the heart of the Historic Third Ward, head north on Broadway St toward E Chicago St. Continue walking until you reach E Chicago St, then turn right. Walk along E Chicago St until you arrive at N Harbor Dr. Turn left onto N Harbor Dr and proceed until you reach the entrance of Lakeshore State Park at 500 N Harbor Dr. This walk is approximately 0.5 miles and should take about 10-15 minutes.

    If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing service like Bublr Bikes. Locate a nearby station in the Third Ward, rent a bike, and ride north on Broadway St. Take a right on E Chicago St, then a left on N Harbor Dr. Follow N Harbor Dr directly to Lakeshore State Park.
