    From the center of Sturgeon Bay, head east on Michigan Street towards the Bay. Continue until you reach the intersection with Maple Avenue. Turn left onto Maple Avenue and walk north until you reach the intersection with Egg Harbor Road. Cross Egg Harbor Road, continuing on Maple Avenue. When you reach the T-intersection with Barge Road, turn right. Continue walking on Barge Road for approximately 1.5 miles. Cave Point - Clay Banks State Natural Area will be on your left. Look for the entrance marked by signage.

    If you have a bike, start from the Sturgeon Bay waterfront area. Take the bike path that runs along the water to the north. Follow the path until you reach Egg Harbor Road. Turn left onto Egg Harbor Road, then continue until you reach Maple Avenue. Turn right onto Maple Avenue, and then follow the same route as described for walking. Barge Road will be about 1.5 miles down, and the entrance to Cave Point - Clay Banks State Natural Area will be on your left.
