Car
To reach Cement Ridge Lookout by car from downtown Rapid City, take I-90 W. After about 25 miles, take exit 61 for US-16 W towards Custer. Continue on US-16 W for approximately 30 miles, then take a left onto SD-89 N. After about 10 miles, turn right onto Cement Ridge Road (look for signs). This road is unpaved and can be bumpy, so drive cautiously. After about 5 miles, you will arrive at the Cement Ridge Lookout parking area. There are no fees for parking.

Currently, there are no direct public transportation options to Cement Ridge Lookout. However, you can take a public bus or shuttle service to Custer State Park.
