If you are driving from the town of Sundance, head east on US-14 E for approximately 16 miles. When you reach the intersection with US-85, turn left onto US-85 N. Continue on US-85 N for about 4 miles until you see the signs for Tree In The Rock. The site will be on your right, just off the highway. There is a small parking area available for visitors.

From the town of Moorcroft, take I-90 N towards Gillette. After about 15 miles, take exit 153 for US-85 S towards Lusk. Follow US-85 S for approximately 10 miles. Look for the signs for Tree In The Rock, which will be on your left. There is parking available at the site.

Public transportation options in Crook County are limited. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to Gillette, Wyoming. From Gillette, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to Tree In The Rock, which is about 30 miles south of Gillette along US-85.
