If you are starting from Fort Collins, take I-25 N toward Cheyenne. Exit at 268 for CO-1 toward Wellington. Follow CO-1 N for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with CO-86. Turn right onto CO-86, and continue for approximately 10 miles. Look for Sand Wash Trail on your right. The Lindenmeier Site will be located along this trail. There is no entry fee for the site, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.
