Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the Moose Entrance of Grand Teton National Park. Once inside the park, head south on Teton Park Road. After approximately 2.5 miles, turn left onto Moose Wilson Road. Continue on Moose Wilson Road for about 3 miles until you reach the Granite Canyon Trailhead on your left. There is a parking area available. Note that there may be a fee to enter the park, typically around $35 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take the START bus from Jackson to the Moose stop. The bus operates seasonally and the schedule may vary, so check the latest timings. Once you arrive at the Moose stop, the Granite Canyon Trailhead is approximately a 1-mile walk down Moose Wilson Road. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the walk can be along a gravel road.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Jackson and ride to the Granite Canyon Trailhead. From the town of Jackson, follow the bike path to the Moose Entrance of Grand Teton National Park. Once inside, take Teton Park Road south and then turn left onto Moose Wilson Road. The trailhead is about 5.5 miles from the Moose Entrance. Remember to bring water and snacks, as there are limited facilities along the route.
