Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the Grand Teton National Park Visitor Center located at 390 N. Highway 89, Moose, WY 83012. From the Visitor Center, head south on Highway 89/191 for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the junction with the Teton Park Road. Turn left onto Teton Park Road and continue for about 7 miles. Look for the Taggart Lake Trailhead parking area on your right. The parking lot is well marked and has spaces reserved for visitors. Note that there is a fee for parking in the park, so be prepared to pay for a park entrance pass, which costs $35 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
