Car
If you are starting from Jackson, Wyoming, take US-89 N from Jackson towards Grand Teton National Park. Continue on US-89 N for approximately 12 miles. Once you reach the park entrance, proceed to the parking area at the String Lake Trailhead. From the parking area, you can hike to Mt. Moran via the String Lake Trail. The hike to the base of Mt. Moran is roughly 3 miles one way and offers stunning views along the way. Make sure to bring water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the START bus from Jackson to the Grand Teton National Park. Check the bus schedule for seasonal service.
