Getting There

    From Pinedale, head west on WY-351 for approximately 12 miles. Turn right onto US-191 N and continue for about 8 miles. Take a left onto WY-352 W and follow it for about 6 miles until you reach the trailhead for Jackson Peak. There is no entrance fee for accessing the trailhead.

  • Public Transportation & Hiking

    Take a public bus or shuttle service from Pinedale to the nearest stop along US-191. Confirm the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you get off the bus, you can either hike along US-191 to reach the trailhead for Jackson Peak, which is about a 2-mile walk, or arrange for a local taxi to take you to the trailhead.

    If you are already near the trailhead, begin your hike from the parking area. Follow the marked trail that leads to Jackson Peak. The hike is about 4 miles long one way with an elevation gain of approximately 2,000 feet. It's recommended to wear sturdy hiking boots and carry plenty of water.
