    If you're traveling by car, start on U.S. Route 287 heading south from Dubois or north from Pinedale. Follow the signs for Cora, WY. Once you reach Cora, turn onto County Road 579, also known as Green River Lakes Road. Continue on this road for approximately 19 miles until you reach the Green River Lakes Trailhead. Be aware that this road is unpaved and can be rough in sections, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. There is no fee to park at the trailhead.

    For those relying on public transportation, the nearest major airport is in Jackson, WY. From the Jackson airport, you can take a shuttle service to Pinedale, WY.
