    If you are driving from the city of Chipata, head northwest on the T4 road towards the town of Kasamba. After approximately 70 km, you will reach the junction for the D145 road. Turn left onto D145 and continue for about 45 km until you reach the town of Chimpempe. From Chimpempe, follow the signs to Lumangwe Falls, which is about 10 km from the town center. The road might be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. There are no entrance fees for the falls, but ensure you have enough fuel for the trip.

    To reach Lumangwe Falls via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Chipata to Chimpempe. Buses leave regularly from the Chipata bus station and the fare is typically around ZMW 50. The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Chimpempe, you can hire a local taxi or a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining 10 km to Lumangwe Falls. Expect to pay around ZMW 30-50 for the taxi ride. It's advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand.
