The falls will be about 5 kilometers down this road. Be cautious as the road can be rough in places, and keep an eye out for local wildlife.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Nyambwezu Falls using public transportation, you can take a local minibus from Kalambo Falls to the nearest town, which is about 15 kilometers away. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local vehicle to take you the remaining 10 kilometers to Nyambwezu Falls. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting the journey; typical costs for this segment can range from 50 to 100 Zambian Kwacha, depending on your negotiation skills.

• Walking

  For adventurous travelers, walking from Kalambo Falls to Nyambwezu Falls is an option. It is approximately a 25-kilometer trek. Start by following the main road southeast from Kalambo Falls towards the junction. Once you reach the junction, continue on the road that leads to Nyambwezu Falls. Make sure to carry enough water, snacks, and a map, as the trail can be isolated. Allow yourself a full day to complete the journey.
