Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Mpika, a central town in Muchinga Province. Head south on the Great North Road (T2) and continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Chinsali Road. Turn onto Chinsali Road and follow the signs towards Chinsonkolo Falls. The road will take you through a scenic landscape, and after about 30 kilometers, you'll arrive at the destination. Make sure to have a GPS or map handy, as the last few kilometers may not be well-marked.
Public Transportation
To reach Chinsonkolo Falls using public transportation, start by taking a minibus or bus from Mpika to Chinsali. This journey typically takes about 1-2 hours, depending on the condition of the roads and the number of stops. Once in Chinsali, you will need to hire a local taxi or find a motorbike taxi to take you the remaining 30 kilometers to the falls.
