Car
From Bvumba Botanical Gardens, exit the gardens and head south on the main road. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards the Bvumba Mountains. The scenic drive will take you through beautiful landscapes, and you may need to pay a small toll fee of around $2 at the entrance to certain viewpoints or parks within the mountains. Keep an eye out for the Bvumba Mountains sign, and follow it to the designated parking areas near the hiking trails.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local minibus from the main bus stop near Bvumba Botanical Gardens. Look for a minibus heading towards the Bvumba area. The fare is typically around $1.50 per person. Once you get dropped off at the nearest stop, you may have to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the base of the Bvumba Mountains.
