If you are already at the main entrance of the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, head towards the main site of the ruins. Follow the marked pathways that lead you through the historical area. The Great Enclosure is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the main entrance. The path is well-maintained, and you will see signs directing you towards the Great Enclosure. The walk should take about 20-30 minutes. Enjoy the scenery and the historical context as you approach the site.

Private Vehicle
If you are traveling by car, park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the entrance of the Great Zimbabwe National Monument. From the parking area, exit and proceed on foot towards the main site of the ruins. The Great Enclosure is about 1.5 kilometers away and can be reached by following the clearly marked paths. Ensure you have appropriate footwear as some parts of the pathway may be uneven.

If you are using public transportation to reach the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, take a local bus or shared taxi heading to Masvingo. Once you arrive at the bus station in Masvingo, you can take a taxi to the entrance of the Great Zimbabwe National Monument. Upon arrival, pay the entrance fee (approximately $10 USD) and then follow the same walking directions to the Great Enclosure as outlined above. The total travel time from Masvingo to the Great Zimbabwe National Monument may take around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
