From the main entrance of Great Zimbabwe National Monument, head straight towards the visitor center. After visiting the visitor center, continue on the marked path that leads to the Great Enclosure. The path will take you through the scenic ruins and is well signposted with informative plaques. Expect a short hike of about 15-20 minutes on foot to reach the Great Enclosure, which is located approximately 1 km from the visitor center.

If you are driving within the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the visitor center. From there, follow the walking path that leads to the Great Enclosure. Note that private vehicles are not allowed to drive directly to the Great Enclosure site; you must park and walk the remaining distance of about 1 km, which takes around 15-20 minutes on foot.

Public Transportation
For those utilizing public transportation, the nearest bus stop is located outside the Great Zimbabwe National Monument's entrance. You can catch a local minibus that operates from Masvingo to the monument. After arriving at the entrance, you will need to purchase an entry ticket (approximately $5 USD for international tourists). From there, follow the walking path to the Great Enclosure as described above. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
