Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest city, such as Bulawayo or Hwange. From Bulawayo, take the A8 highway heading northwest towards Victoria Falls. The drive is approximately 440 kilometers and takes about 5-6 hours. As you approach Victoria Falls, follow the signs to the town center. Once in Victoria Falls, look for signs directing you to the Victoria Falls Rainforest, where the guided tour begins. There is parking available near the entrance, but be mindful of parking fees which could vary.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can catch a bus from Bulawayo to Victoria Falls. Buses run regularly throughout the day and the journey takes about 6-7 hours. Upon arrival at the Victoria Falls bus station, you can take a taxi or walk to the Victoria Falls Rainforest. The distance is roughly 3 kilometers (about a 30-minute walk). Ensure you have local currency (Zimbabwean dollars) on hand, as taxis will require cash for payment. Alternatively, you may find shuttle services that can take you directly to the Rainforest entrance.

• Taxi

  Once in Victoria Falls, you can easily hire a taxi to take you to the Victoria Falls Rainforest. Taxis are available near the town center or can be booked via local hotels. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride is short, approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you’re staying in accommodations near the town center of Victoria Falls, you can opt to walk to the Victoria Falls Rainforest. This is a pleasant and scenic walk that takes about 30 minutes. Follow the main road leading towards the falls, and you will see signs directing you to the entrance of the Rainforest.
