I was really looking forward to the food on the ship and in Egypt. It exceeded my expectations. The buffets on the ship had so much variety. But the real treat was when our guide took a small group of us to a local restaurant in Aswan. We had fresh grilled fish and traditional bread and it was the best meal of the trip. The experience of eating with locals was amazing. The ship itself was comfortable and the dining room was nice. The staff in the restaurant remembered my preferences after the first day. The atmosphere on the ship was pleasant. The crowd size was fine. The admission fees were all covered for the sights. The length of the cruise was perfect. I even took a cooking class on the ship one afternoon which was a fun extra.

We were a group of four friends looking for a trip that was a bit different from our usual beach holidays and this 5 day Nile cruise was it. Our guide made the whole thing so much fun. He was full of energy and jokes. At the Valley of the Kings he challenged us to a race to see who could spot the most cartouches in the tombs. It sounds silly but it made us really look at the details on the walls. The experience was educational but in a really fun way. The ship itself was great we hung out at the bar every night swapping photos and stories. The atmosphere on board was super social. The staff were always up for a chat and a laugh. The crowd size at some of the sites like Hatshepsuts Temple was busy but our guide kept us moving. The admission fee to go inside the tombs of Ramses IV or VI is extra but we all agreed it was worth it to see the sarcophagus. The length of each stop was good we never felt like we missed anything. We also did the optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor which was incredible floating over the temples at sunrise. The guide was incredibly respectful and knowledgeable especially when talking to my dad. He took the time to answer all of his detailed questions which I really appreciated. The experience of seeing the Colossi of Memnon with him was special just these two giant statues sitting in a field. The ship was comfortable and a nice place to relax after long days. The atmosphere on board was calm and welcoming. The staff were attentive and always made sure my dad had everything he needed. The crowd size at the temples was fine we never felt overwhelmed.
