Amazing 3 day tour with Sweet Travel. Wilter is the BEST tour guide ever. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable - even made us hot chocolates and hot water bottles after the hot springs. Definitely worth going with this company so you can go to the hot springs at night (only a few companies do this)- you can see the Milky Way!!! Car was comfortable and clean. Food was delicious, fresh and healthy. Don’t worry if you can’t speak Spanish, we got by with minimal. Thank you again Wilter!!!

Beimar is a liar and a scammer, and generally irresponsible and unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK a tour with him, especially a multi day tour. I booked the 3 day 2 night tour of uyuni ending in San Pedro with him, based on his good reviews. I made the incorrect assumption that paying a little bit more for his tour would result in a better experience for me. I was wrong. He charged me $180, and put me in a car with Skyline tours where the other participants paid 1550 Bolivianos. At the time, the exchange rate was $1 = 13 bolivianos, so if I had booked directly with skyline I would have only paid $120. A 50% markup for doing absolutely nothing. When I asked for a refund, he first tried to negotiate the exchange rate (claiming that the exchange rate was only 11 in uyuni). But ultimately he refused to refund me anything. He refused to apologize, claiming that this practice is common in Bolivia (which may be true but it is still a scam). Note that Beimar told me he ONLY guides 1 day tours. If you book a multi day tour with him, he will charge you 50% more and send you with Skyline (who he told me was owned by a relative of his, as if that justified his sending me with them). A few other minor issues that illustrate Beimars lack of character: 1. he picked me up from the airport, which was nice. But he did not offer to help me with my heavy bags which shows a complete lack of common courtesy, respect and professionalism 2. When we got to town, I said I was going to go to a cafe for breakfast. He refused to let me go to a cafe of my choosing and instead physically walked me to a horrible cafe nearby (probably owned by another family member). I politely looked at the menu and left as soon as Beimar was out of sight. 3. While at breakfast, I left my bags in Beimars office because he said he would watch them. But when I came back from breakfast an hour later, the door to his office was wide open with my bags sitting in plain view, and Beimar was gone. Anyone could have stolen them. A complete lack of professionalism on Beimars part. 4. Beimar failed to tell me that adequate WATER would not be provided on the tour. We had some water during meals (not every meal), but it was not sufficient for spending the entire day in the desert. Skyline told its clients to bring extra water. If it wasn’t for the generosity of the other guests on my trip, I would have gone thirsty. Ultimately, my advice to anyone visiting uyuni - book a tour with the cheapest tour operator. Paying more will NOT get you a better experience. The tours are all identical. The cars are identical. The meals everyone eats are identical. The places everyone visits are identical. And the lodging is all identical. If you pay more, you will only be disappointed because you will receive the exact same experience as the cheapest tour offers.

My friend and I explored the salt flats and Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve with Beimar for three days and had so, so much fun! He was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. We learned so much--I especially loved seeing all the stars early in the morning--and got to see beautiful landscapes. Each stop was interesting and unique; thank you so much! 10/10 best tour ever!

3 days trip to Uyuni. We lived a unique experience thanks to the perfect organisation and availability of our tour guide and driver Beimar. He knows all the secrets of the Salar and guided us to the most beautiful landscapes of the Bolivian plateau. So thankful.

Honestly a great experience, I learned a lot and I feasted my eyes on it. Our guide was friendly, he leaves a lot of autonomy when visiting and just explains what it takes. It does everything to arrange you both before, during and after the excursion. I don't know who cooks the meals but they were excellent (morning and noon because in the evening it's the hotel). The meals were hearty and especially he tries to make us eat food from the traditional bottom (quinoa, llamas, etc...) The price is more than affordable for 3 days of extraordinary visits and exploration! Important to notify: he is someone cautious on roads that can be winding and a little dangerous. We were only 4 (we had to be 6) which offered us an experience in small committee and away from other tourists! Always try to find the best place, the best time, the best timing and make the best photos! I recommend both for landscapes and for accompaniment and explanations! REALLY I advise 🔥 Don't overload it, it's useless (except the necessary on the site: 4L water (for comfort) silver cash (300bo to be LARGE), sleeping bag and swimsuit!q

Then we head towards Isla Incahuasi, located in the center of the Salar where you can appreciate its famous Giant Cacti that can reach up to 20 meters. We continue the tour visiting Laguna Verde and Volcano Licancabur : A spectacular view at the foot of the Chilean border. To finish the tour you have 2 options: Option 1 (Transfer to Chile): Shared bus connection to San Pedro de Atacama at 08:00 AM (Arrival approx. 1 :00 PM). Option 2 (Return to Uyuni): Return in 4x4 visiting Villamar, Laguna Catal, Caravan of Llamas, Valley of Rocks and San Cristobal. Arrival in Uyuni between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
