Blue Lagoon is beautiful and the Silica mask is wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. The taxi ride however is very expensive so do the transfer.

Very confusing about the transfer from ship to the lagoon. We had no idea that we had to take a bus from
Ship to terminal. Then get on another bus to the lagoon. Thank goodness to be able to call for more instructions.
The lagoon is spectacular.
Coming back was much better as we knew the bus transfer routine.

As we’ve come to expect, Viator was great. I misread our time for pickup and the local operator kindly put us with the next group, using our arranged tickets & reservations. Blue Lagoon is good experience, just a big ‘ol hot tub with some mud to put on your face! They were very organized, in & out with great dressing/locker & showers. Men & Ladies separated. One of those things you’ll do once! While good, if you only have one day, off a cruise ship, I’d probably opt to get out and see some of Iceland’s beauty.

Due to local regulations, certain hotels/guesthouses/apartments do not allow for lobby pick-up. Guests will have to go to the nearest bus stop for their pick-up.
For Reykjavik pick-ups from the hotel or nearest bus stop, you will be picked up with a minibus and transferred to the Bus Terminal to join a coach bus that will take you to the Lagoon.
You will be dropped off at Blue Lagoon. The same procedure is applied for the return to Reykjavik.
For the Hotels and accommodations located in Keflavik Town, the shuttle bus pick-up is handled from the Keflavik Airport. If a direct hotel pick-up is needed, a private transfer is required.
