    My sister and I hired Derek to see not just the tourist sites but also some off the beaten path sites. He did not disappoint. We saw so much in 6 days! Derek was friendly, professional, informative and we enjoyed his company. His knowledge of history, ancient through recent, mythology, topography, and geology were impressive. From seeing the beautiful countryside, villages, and visiting ancient sites we really got a comprehensive view of Ireland.

    Our experience with Wild About Ireland Tours was wonderful. From the very beginning, we were treated to a seamless, unforgettable journey that allowed our family to experience Ireland at its best. A heartfelt thank you to Derek, whose expertise and attention to detail resulted in an outstanding itinerary. He created an advised on the best accommodation for our needs, then set about entertaining us with fascinating stories and insights at every turn. He was quick to help us with anything we needed, find us a restaurant that could accommodate six people, or tell us something interesting about anything we pointed out. His sense of humor and genuine love of Irish culture made every day memorable. Whether sharing stories from Irish history, explaining local customs, or introducing us to hidden gems along the way, he brought the country to life. We traveled with ease through Killarney, Dingle, Cashel, Dublin, and Galway. Along the way, we explored Killarney National Park, drove the spectacular Dingle Peninsula, enjoyed a sheep farm visit, visited the Rock of Cashel, toured the Book of Kells, sampled Ireland's famous stout at the Guinness Storehouse, toured Tullamore Distillery, stopped at Sean's Bar and experienced a fantastic walking tour of Galway with Derek. All organised by Derek in advance. We explored the unique landscape of the Burren, and walked along the magnificent Cliffs of Moher with Derek as our guide Every step was an opportunity for him point out something interesting about the area. Every day seemed to bring a new highlight, yet what made the trip truly special were the personal touches. For anyone considering a private tour of Ireland, I wholeheartedly recommend Derek's tours. He delivered a first-class experience from start to finish and helped create memories our family will remember for a lifetime. Thank you, Derek for an extraordinary Irish adventure. Sláinte!
