Old Medina of Casablanca
CITY TOUR CASABLANCA On a short tour of Casablanca you will get an overview of the western-style metropolis on the Atlantic. You drive through wide boulevards and pretty boulevards. Imposing townhouses from the 1930s and 1940s are reminiscent of the French colonial era. From the window you can admire beautiful Art Deco buildings mixed in with modern high-rise buildings. You will then walk along the beach promenade with your driver-guide and take a coffee break with a view of the sea before continuing your journey.
Hassan II Mosque
TOUR OF THE MOSQUE HASSAN II You will spend this morning in Casablanca. You start with a visit to the city's landmark: With its minaret visible from afar, the Hassan II Mosque sits majestically on a platform above the Atlantic. It is the only actively used mosque in Morocco that is open to non-Muslims. During a one-hour guided tour you will gain an impressive insight into the gigantic dimensions of the third largest mosque in the world and learn interesting facts. Continue to Rabat - Always following the Atlantic coast, we take the A1 motorway to today's capital and royal city of Rabat. Route: Casablanca - Mohammedia - Rabat Distance: 90 km Travel time: 1.5 hours
Rabat
RABAT - COSOLVAN CAPITAL BY THE SEA You will reach Rabat in the evening. The cosmopolitan capital and fourth royal city of Morocco combines modern life with oriental tradition. The city's landmark is the Hassan Tower, the remains of a gigantic mosque planned in the 12th century that was never completed. The old town of Rabat is smaller than the other royal cities, but very well maintained. In addition, the seat of government appears modern and open-minded. Modern infrastructure, cultural centers and boulevards with chic shops give the city a European flair. YOUR ACCOMMODATION RIYADH Meftaha In the old medina, a few steps from the Kasbah des Oudaias and the harbor, the Riad Meftaha shows you the full spectrum of traditional craftsmanship. While sipping fresh mint tea on the Moroccan sofas around the patio, marvel at mosaics, stucco, wrought iron and cedar work. From the roof terrace you can enjoy the view over the old town of Rabat.

Most of the cultural monuments are located in the oriental old town of Fes el-Bali, the medina, which can be easily explored on foot. A highlight is a visit to the tanners' quarter.
