  • My Travel Highlight

One of my most cherished travel experiences was when Hans and I stumbled upon a small, family-run textile workshop in a remote village in Peru. We spent the day learning about traditional weaving techniques from the local artisans, sharing stories, and even trying our hand at the loom. The warmth and generosity of the people, combined with the beauty of their craft, left an indelible mark on my heart.

  • Favourite Destination

For me, the best travel destination has to be Italy. The country is a feast for the senses, with its stunning art and architecture, delicious cuisine, and vibrant culture. I especially love the smaller towns and villages, where you can truly immerse yourself in the local way of life.

  • Best Hotel

I absolutely adored my stay at the Rocabella Mykonos Hotel in Greece. The hotel had a host of experiences for guests, including picturesque picnics anywhere on the island and Greek wine tastings with the hotel's sommelier. The whitewashed town of Chora is only 400 meters away, but guests can also take a masterclass in creative Greek cuisine and then enjoy the dishes under a pergola overlooking the Aegean Sea.

  • My Adventurous Destination

Morocco was definitely my most adventurous trip! From navigating the bustling souks of Marrakech to trekking through the Sahara Desert on a camel, every moment was filled with excitement and wonder. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and opened my eyes to a whole new world.

  • My Food Destination

Without a doubt, the best foodie destination I've ever visited is Mexico City. The street food scene is incredible, with an endless array of tacos, tamales, and other mouthwatering treats. And the restaurants are just as impressive, serving up innovative and delicious takes on traditional Mexican cuisine.
