One of the most spectacular places in Galapagos for snorkeling and appreciating the landscape. After approximately 40 minutes of navigation, we will arrive at a shallow, calm, and very clear water area to observe the rock formations that a series of arches and tunnels have produced from volcanic eruptions, where today a large number of endemic Galapagos species inhabit. During this tour, you can observe: white-tipped shark caves, blue-footed boobies with their chicks, penguins, sea lions, seahorses, rays, a variety of fish, and along the way, manta rays are also often spotted.
This energetic day will be spent visiting the Sierra Negra volcano - "Volcan Chico" with a 16 km hike to see the 9 x 7 km caldera, the third largest in the world, and an active volcano. This is the best place to learn about and experience the origin of all the Galapagos Islands. During this hiking tour, you'll visit the "Volcan Chico" area, which consists of lava flows from previous eruptions, showcasing a lunar and colorful landscape until reaching a viewpoint where you can see the northern part of Isabela Island, the other volcanoes, and the surrounding islands. An unforgettable landscape!
This bay tour includes a short walk to observe species, a boat ride to see penguins and birds, and finally, snorkeling where you can observe sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays, white-tipped sharks, fish, etc.
