    Lester offers a great outing! The northern part of the island is the most beautiful. Run and see Calibishie, its palm trees, its red rocks, the Atlantic Ocean, the chocolate factory and Lea distillery. Finish off with Toucari Bay with a meal in an idyllic setting with the beach and light, and the Keepin it Real restaurant: wahou!! I recommend with my eyes closed. Lester is very good advice, he knows the island by heart, he drives super well and he knows how to put at ease. Thank you for everything!!

    I wish the tour guide had taken me to more of the water falls and other locations. I felt like I didn’t get the real essence of Dominica but the tour was very nice and knowledgeable. I appreciate his patience and willingness to share information about the island itself.

    The only tour we saw that had a stop at Red Rock which was a sight to behold. The tour guide made the experience. It’s rare to meet people as humble and kind.

    - We did a private taxi tour with Lester to Toucari Bay for snorkeling and beach time - This was by far the BEST tour we took out of our six cruise port stops!! Lester is such a nice, personable guy -- we enjoyed talking and visiting with him. He has a comfortable car, with GOOD air conditioning, which was a plus. The drive was about an hour and 10 minutes north from the cruise port, but was scenic. We made a quick stop when I saw a fruit stand on the street. Toucari Bay has a small black sand beach that was empty -- we had the whole place to ourselves! My husband and I snorkeled for at least an hour and a half, maybe more. We saw SO much!! I spotted an octopus (awesome!!) and a rock fish. There were plenty of fish everywhere, and lots of cool corals and tube sponges. We saw spiny sea urchins, a barracuda, lots of squid. It was all around perfect!!! The restaurant right on the beach was closed for the off-season. They were doing some renovations. But there were still some picnic tables in the shade, and beach chairs for us to use. We ended up driving down just a little ways and found another restaurant that was open. Beautiful views of a beach right from their open-air deck. Lester got us back to the ship in plenty of time. We had the best day with him! ** We would highly recommend this Taxi & Tour company!! ** We will email Lester again when we return.

    This site is an unusual coastal formation of red smooth earth with a majestic view of the sea. At the entrance of this rock formation, there is a bar, and a playground for kids. Perfect for picture taking.

    Bwa Nef Falls

    Bwa Nef Falls

    This hike takes around 20 min. Hike level easy to moderate. Through the hike, you will pass through banana/plantain plantation and river streams that will lead to the waterfall. This waterfall is located inside a small canyon, tucked away from view until you are right there. This waterfall is like no other in Dominica. It is small, tall, private and quite interesting. Take a bath here and cool off.

    This cold Sulphur spring is a unique volcanic manifestation where the water is actually cold and bubbly. All hot spring features will be visible with the exception of the water, which is cold. We hike for around 10 min. Hike level easy. Driving time included in total time.
