Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the main bus terminal in Roseau, which is located on King George V Street. From the terminal, head north along the street until you reach the intersection with Independence Street. Turn left onto Independence Street and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road leading towards Penville. This road is called the Northern Coastal Road. Continue along this road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through the small village of Calibishie. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Penville. Once you arrive in Penville, ask locals for directions to Bwa Nef Falls, as it is a popular attraction in the area.

• Taxi

  From your location in Roseau, go to the main taxi stand located near the bus terminal on King George V Street. Take a taxi that is heading towards Penville. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Bwa Nef Falls, or at least near the entrance to the falls. The taxi ride will take about 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Penville, ask the driver to let you know where you can find the trailhead to Bwa Nef Falls.

• Hiking

  If you're up for an adventure, you can hike to Bwa Nef Falls from Roseau. Start at the bus terminal and follow the walking directions towards Independence Street and then the Northern Coastal Road towards Penville. It is approximately a 10-kilometer hike, which can take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes, bring water, and prepare for varying terrains. Once you get to Penville, you can ask locals for the best trail to the falls.
