Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Castle Bruce, head east towards the main road (Main Rd). Once you reach the Main Rd, turn left and continue walking along this road. Keep an eye out for the signposts indicating Toucari Bay. It is approximately a 30-minute walk. As you walk, you will pass several local shops and houses, giving you a taste of the local culture. Follow the road as it curves and eventually leads you down towards the bay.

• Hiking

  For a more adventurous route, you can take the hiking trail from Castle Bruce that leads towards Toucari Bay. Head towards the hills behind Castle Bruce and look for the trail that signs for Toucari. This route offers stunning views of the coastline, but be prepared for a more strenuous hike lasting around 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry water.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer not to walk, check with locals for any available minibuses or shared taxis that head towards Toucari Bay. They typically can be found at the main bus stop in Castle Bruce. The fare is very affordable. Make sure to let the driver know your destination, and they will drop you off as close to the bay as possible. The journey by public transport usually takes about 15 minutes.
