The two wineries provided good tours, with knowledgeable guides, and the tastings were well done. La Santísima Trinidad did a good job of providing food to go with the one and guiding us to interesting food/wine combinations. Juan was a good driver; communication was good and he was flexible and friendly.

In a nutshell...it felt sooo much like a scam and trip advisor did not give me a refund. Everything started happening AFTER trip advisor charged my card for the tour. Once that happened, I began receiving these WhatsApp messages asking me to pick a package. What? I already picked a package and paid for it. Yes, but there are more fees as mentioned under what's not included. I understood that, but the packages were turning out to be just as costly as what was already charged. The uncertainty grew as they began to put pressure on me to pay. I was sent packages to review and pick and was even told which one to pick. I decided to cancel based on my Spiderman senses. They could not help me with the cancelation. Told me I had to go to trip advisor. I called them and said they would email someone to cancel and possibly refund. It was canceled, BUT I got and email from trip advisor saying how sorry they were about my experience. They said they WILL NOT be refunding me. I lost $204 but no telling how much more I would have lost including my life in a foreign country had I gone ahead with the "tour". Why weren't the additional charges listed for better transparency IF they were truly legit??? Trip advisor really just washed their hands of the entire thing. BEWARE!!!!
