We randomly walked up to Bonnie finishing up another tour and asked if she could accommodate us, of which she said ‘yes’! We explained we had a boat tour in two, she said that she’d end the tour at the boat. Bonnie was very good, knowledgeable and angled it with British twist as I’m British. Very good tour

This is the walking tour you want to take! It was very informative, yet informal. My husband and I felt comfortable asking questions and it was definitely more of a conversation. A nice slow 3 hour tour and we learned SOOOO much about Savannah.

Very knowledgeable and very nice tour guide. Very professional started and ended on time. Informed us of other tours and popular restaurants to visit. Great recommendations.

Bonnie, our walking tour guide, is a Savannah native, and she led us around the Historic District pausing enroute to share her deep knowledge on the city’s founding, its economic and cultural history, its Revolutionary and Colonial and the Civil War history. Attention was given to the slave and cotton trade and many leading citizens past and present. She also covered contemporary Savannah, housing patterns, gentrification, SCAD, etc. We were a group of seniors walking on a warm May morning, so there were many opportunities to sit and hydrate in the shade of the live oak trees. Bonnie’s scope of knowledge was impressive, and she also offered suggestions on museums, restaurants, and unique local shops. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 8 consisting of 4 couples unknown to one another , all visiting Savannah for the first time. Our tour lasted 3 hours and took us around the center of the Historic District, through several of the famous squares. Bonnie was excellent, a Savannah native, a history lover. The historical content was solid, well researched, and not sensationalized with lore of murders and ghosts. Attention given to the slave trade and the city’s economic and cultural history, its Colonial and Civil War history. Just enough detail. Bonnie kept an easy pace and made several stops in shady squares for sitting and hydrating , so the 3 hours was very manageable. She also sprinkled in some advice about museums, restaurants, and local shops worth a. Visit. Perfectly wonderful way to get to know the city. Highly recommended.

Bonnie is very knowledgeable and clearly loves Savannah history. She took us to many highlights of the historic district, delved into history not found in the history books, and gave excellent recommendations of things to do-several of which we did and enjoyed. She also made great recommendations for dining and nightlife.
