Upon entering Walvis Bay, follow the signs directing you towards the lagoon area. You will need to turn onto Lagoon Promenade Road. The Flamingo Lagoon is located at coordinates -22.9733978, 14.4785799. Look for parking areas nearby, as it can get busy, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay. The trip will take around 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Walvis Bay, you can either walk (approximately 2 km) or take a taxi to Lagoon Promenade Road. Taxis are commonly available and will cost around 50 Namibian Dollars. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. Once you reach Lagoon Promenade, follow the road towards the lagoon area.
