We went to the Monkey Sanctuary, and it was so much fun! We had the chance to feed the Mona monkeys, which was a really cool experience. However, there were some downsides to the trip. The drive was about 3 hours each way, which made for a long day. I also recommend that guests bring their passport, as there are multiple checkpoints along the route. If you don’t have your passport, and you’re not offering bribes, you could end up wasting hours waiting for clearance. So, definitely plan ahead and make sure you have everything in order before the journey."

I visited the monkey sanctuary and got the chance to play with some friendly Mona monkeys such a fun and unique experience! We also visited the Wli Waterfalls, and although it took us a 45-minute walk to reach them, it was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it!

As part of our recent company retreat, we had the pleasure of exploring the beautiful Volta Region of Ghana, and we were fortunate to have GhanaPeople Tour, led by Adjei, as our guide. Visiting the Volta Region was truly one of the highlights of my trip. The natural beauty there is absolutely breathtaking, especially the waterfalls they were stunning and so refreshing to experience in person. We spent the entire day exploring and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sound of the water. It was the perfect escape from the busy city life. Honestly, I didn’t even want to return to Accra because the experience was just that relaxing and enjoyable.
