This Explorers Travel Highlights

  • My Travel Highlight

One of my most cherished travel experiences was hiking through the ancient city of Petra in Jordan. The sheer scale of the architecture carved into the sandstone cliffs was breathtaking, and the history embedded in every corner was palpable. Exploring the Siq and finally emerging into the Treasury was a moment I'll never forget.

  • Favourite Destination

Nigeria. Returning to my birth country always fills me with immense joy and pride. There's nothing quite like reconnecting with my roots, savoring the familiar flavors of home-cooked meals, and sharing stories with family and friends. Each visit enriches my understanding of who I am and where I come from.

  • Best Hotel

Casa de Sierra Nevada in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The hotel is a cultural experience, with each of the Spanish colonial mansions that house the hotel dating back to between the 16th and 18th centuries. The hotel also features its Sazon cooking school and there's Mexican cuisine served at the Andanza restaurant

  • My Adventurous Destination

Mongolia. The vast, open steppes of Mongolia offered a sense of freedom and adventure unlike anywhere else I've been. Off-roading through the Gobi Desert, staying in traditional ger camps, and experiencing the nomadic culture pushed me out of my comfort zone and provided unforgettable memories.

  • My Food Destination

Mexico City. The street food scene alone is enough to make it a top destination, with its vibrant markets and diverse culinary traditions. From savory tacos al pastor to rich mole sauces, every meal was a delightful exploration of flavors.
