More about Carmen Gonzalez
Born and raised in Guanare, Venezuela, Carmen always had a passion for languages and travel. After completing her studies in modern languages, she worked as a translator in Caracas. However, the political and economic instability in Venezuela led her and her husband, Hans, to seek a better life in Germany. They settled in Bamberg, where Hans found work as a software engineer and Carmen built a career as a freelance translator, specializing in German and Spanish. While translation is her primary source of income, Carmen has always dreamed of sharing her love for travel and her cultural heritage with a wider audience. She started her blog on Evendo as a way to connect with others, document her experiences, and inspire people to explore the world.
