Born and raised in Kelowna, Canada, Matthew always had a passion for exploring. Growing up, his family took frequent road trips across Canada, sparking a lifelong love for travel. After completing his degree in Computer Science, he landed a stable job as a software developer. However, the monotony of office life soon led him to seek an outlet for his adventurous spirit. He started the 'Evendo Explorer' blog as a hobby, documenting his weekend getaways and sharing travel tips. An opportunity arose when his company offered him a remote position, which he gladly accepted. He moved to Heidelberg, Germany, with his girlfriend Lena, embracing a new culture and using it as a base to explore Europe. His blog has slowly gained traction, balancing his tech job with his passion for travel.
