Today was all about soaking in the last moments of Chefchaouen’s unique charm. With only one day left, Jean-Pierre and I set out to explore more of what this blue city had to offer, focusing on its historic gates and the delightful experiences tucked away in its vibrant streets. It’s hard to believe our journey here is almost at an end, but we're determined to make the most of every moment.

After breakfast, we decided to explore two of Chefchaouen's notable gates: Bab El Hammar and Bab el Mahrouk. The lamb was tender and aromatic, and Jean-Pierre raved about the freshness of his seafood. We lingered over our meal, enjoying the views and the gentle breeze.

In the afternoon, with our bellies full and our spirits high, we ventured into Jabir shop chefchaouen. I was on the hunt for some unique souvenirs to bring back home. I found a beautiful hand-painted bowl that I knew would look perfect in our Montreal kitchen, a little piece of Chefchaouen to remind us of our travels. Jean-Pierre, meanwhile, picked out a vibrant scarf made of silk for Sofia.
