To cap off our first day in Matera, we decided to visit JAR - Beer, Wine & Bites for a nightcap. The bar had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a great selection of craft beers and wines. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly owner, sipping on local brews, and soaking in the vibrant energy of the place. It was the perfect way to unwind and reflect on the incredible day we'd had.

I'm particularly excited about the Crypt, as I've read so much about its early medieval paintings. But for now, I'm content to drift off to sleep, dreaming of ancient stones and hidden caves. I’m also hoping I don’t forget my adapter for Italian power outlets tomorrow!
