José grew up in the small city of Trinidad, Uruguay, where he developed a love for the outdoors and a strong connection to his heritage. After studying agricultural science in Montevideo, he decided to explore opportunities abroad. Drawn by Canada's vast landscapes and diverse culture, he moved to Edmonton. He initially worked on various farms before landing a unique role as a Maple Syrup Coordinator, a job he finds surprisingly fulfilling. He met his wife, Isabella, at a local book club, and they share a passion for travel and exploring new cultures. While his primary job is in the agricultural sector, José enjoys sharing his travel experiences and insights on the Evendo travel portal as a hobby, connecting with a global audience and inspiring them to discover new destinations.
