Our morning began with a hearty breakfast at MIDO'S. This little gem, tucked away in the medina, is known for its simple yet delicious food and friendly service. I opted for a traditional Moroccan breakfast: crusty bread, olives, and a steaming pot of mint tea. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring.

With breakfast settling nicely, we made our way to the Ethnographic Museum of Chefchaouen. Housed within the Kasbah, this museum offered a fascinating glimpse into Moroccan culture, traditions, and heritage. The museum is located in the Kasbah, built in 1471. I was particularly captivated by the exhibits showcasing traditional costumes, musical instruments, and ancient weapons. It was amazing to see how art, craft, and trade evolved in the region, from prehistoric tools to modern-day creations. The intricate details of the Berber and Andalusian artifacts truly brought the history of Chefchaouen to life.

Leaving the museum, we decided to explore Bab El Ain, one of the main entrances to the old city. As we approached, the gate stood majestically against the backdrop of the Rif Mountains, a stunning sight to behold. Bab El Ain is not just a passageway but a symbol of the city's rich cultural heritage. I paused to capture a few photos, admiring the traditional craftsmanship and the vibrant blue hues that adorned every building. It felt like stepping back in time, imagining the countless travelers who had passed through this very gate over the centuries.

For lunch, we ventured to Restaurant Dar El Salam, recommended by a local we met near Bab El Ain. This charming restaurant offered a cozy atmosphere and a menu filled with traditional Moroccan dishes. I decided to try the tagine with chicken and olives, a flavorful and aromatic dish that was simply divine. My friends opted for the couscous, which was equally delicious. We savored every bite, accompanied by refreshing glasses of orange juice. The restaurant's location in the heart of the medina allowed us to soak in the lively atmosphere of the city while enjoying our meal.

After lunch, we couldn't resist the urge to do a little shopping. We stumbled upon Blue. concept store, a delightful boutique filled with unique treasures crafted by local artisans. The shop is a treasure trove of unique items that reflect the rich artistry of Morocco. I found a beautiful handcrafted silver bracelet, a perfect memento of my time in Chefchaouen. The shop vendors were friendly and helpful, sharing stories about the local culture and the significance of each piece.

As the sun began to set, we made our way to The Magic Lamp House of Aladin for dinner. This restaurant is renowned for its magical dining experience and stunning views from its terrace. As we sat on the rooftop, overlooking the Kasbah, we were treated to a breathtaking sunset. The sky was ablaze with vibrant colors, casting a warm glow over the blue-washed buildings of Chefchaouen. I ordered the chicken tagine with caramelized onions and raisins, a dish that was both savory and sweet. My friends tried the traditional Moroccan soup and the beef couscous, all of which were delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The Magic Lamp House of Aladin offers an enchanting dining experience set against the backdrop of Chefchaouen's breathtaking blue-hued architecture.
