Buck's Pocket State Park is located at 393 Co Rd 174, Grove Oak, AL 35975. From Grove Oak, head north on Co Rd 173/Co Rd 174. Continue to follow Co Rd 174, and the park will be on your right. Note that some mapping services may direct you to the bottom of Buck's Pocket, so ensure your GPS is set to the park's main address [3]. Parking is available at the Jim Lynn Overlook and near the campground [3, 4]. Parking is free [3, 8]. Limited parking is available, especially during peak seasons [3, 4].

Walking
From the campground, multiple trailheads are accessible within a short walk. The Point Rock Trail begins near the Little Sauty Creek bridge and leads to the Point Rock Overlook [8, 18]. The Primitive Campground Trail can be accessed near the main bridge and heads downstream towards the primitive camping area [18]. Note that the walk from the campground to the Point Rock Overlook is a steep climb of approximately 800 feet [18].
