If you are driving from the closest location on the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail, such as Gulf Shores, take AL-59 N towards Foley. Merge onto I-10 W and continue until you reach I-65 N. Take exit 238 for US-31 N toward Clanton. Continue on US-31 N for about 30 miles until you reach the city of West Blocton. From West Blocton, follow AL-5 N for about 5 miles. You will see signs for Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge. Turn onto the refuge road (3WXQ+6MJ, West Blocton, AL 35184) to enter the park. Parking is available on-site at no cost.
