Getting There

• Driving

  From the center of Coastal Plain, head northwest on US-231 N towards Montgomery. Continue on US-231 N for approximately 25 miles until you reach Montgomery. Once in Montgomery, take the exit for I-85 S towards Columbus. Merge onto I-85 S and then take exit 1C for US-80 W toward Selma. After exiting, continue on US-80 W for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Columbus St, and Old Alabama Town will be on your left at 301 Columbus St, Montgomery, AL 36104.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Montgomery from various locations in Coastal Plain. Once you arrive at the Montgomery bus station, you can either take a local taxi or rideshare service (such as Uber or Lyft) to reach Old Alabama Town at 301 Columbus St. The taxi or rideshare will cost approximately $10-15 and take around 10 minutes depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you are staying in downtown Montgomery near the bus station, you can walk to Old Alabama Town. Head southeast on Water St towards Monroe St, then turn right onto Monroe St. Continue straight until you reach Columbus St, then turn left. Old Alabama Town will be on your right at 301 Columbus St. The walk is about 0.5 miles and should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
