From downtown Decatur, head northwest on 6th Ave NE towards Market St NW. Turn right onto Market St NW and walk for about half a mile. You'll pass shops and cafes. Rhodes Ferry Park will be on your right at 100 Market St NW. The walk takes about 10-15 minutes. No cost involved.
Public Transport
Check local bus routes operating in Decatur. The closest bus stop is on 6th Ave NE. Take a bus heading towards downtown. Ask the driver for the nearest stop to Market St NW. Walk north on Market St NW for 5-10 minutes to Rhodes Ferry Park at 100 Market St NW. A single ride on NARCOG Transit costs $2 within the service area, but scheduling a ride requires at least 24 hours in advance by calling (256) 580-2088 before 2:00 PM the day before.
Driving
From the intersection of US-31 and AL-20 in Decatur, head west on AL-20 (also known as Beltline Road). Turn right onto Market Street NW. Continue on Market Street NW until you reach 100 Market Street NW. Parking is available at the park and is free.
