Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the Little River Canyon Visitor Center located at 4322 Little River Trail NE, Fort Payne, AL 35967. Head south on Little River Trail NE for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with AL-35. Turn left onto AL-35 and follow the signs for Little River Canyon Rim Parkway. Continue for approximately 3.5 miles, then turn right onto Little River Canyon Rim Parkway. After about 2 miles, you will see the sign for Lynn Overlook on your right. There is a small parking area where you can safely park your vehicle.

• Public Transportation

  Although public transportation options are limited in this area, you can take a bus to Fort Payne from nearby cities. Once in Fort Payne, you can use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to get to the Lynn Overlook. Ask your driver to take you to 'Lynn Overlook on Little River Canyon Rim Parkway.' Keep in mind that rideshare availability may vary, and you should confirm the details with the driver.

• Bicycle

  If you enjoy biking, you can ride from the Little River Canyon Visitor Center. Take Little River Trail NE south for about 1 mile, then connect to AL-35 and follow it until you reach Little River Canyon Rim Parkway. Once on the Parkway, continue until you reach Lynn Overlook. Ensure you wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic, especially on AL-35.

• Hiking

  For the adventurous, you can hike from the Little River Canyon Visitor Center to Lynn Overlook. Follow the trails that connect to Little River Canyon Rim Parkway. The total hike can take approximately 2 hours one way, depending on your pace. Make sure to bring water and wear appropriate hiking gear, as some trails may be rugged.
