Getting There

• Walking

  The Hank Williams Museum is located in downtown Montgomery at 118 Commerce Street, across from the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center. From the hotel, walk south on Tallapoosa Street towards Commerce Street, then turn right onto Commerce Street. The museum will be on your left. The walk is less than 5 minutes.

• Public Transport

  Montgomery Transit (The M) provides public bus transportation throughout the city. Check the Montgomery Transit website for routes and schedules to the Commerce Street area. A single ride fare is $1.25.

• Taxi/Ride-share

  Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in Montgomery. A taxi from Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) to the Hank Williams Museum will cost approximately $25-$35. Note that Uber does not offer flat rates from the airport.

• Driving

  If driving, navigate to 118 Commerce Street, Montgomery, AL 36104. Several parking garages and lots are located within a few blocks of the museum. Metered street parking is also available, but can be limited. Parking garage rates typically range from $1 to $3 per hour. There is a public parking garage located at the corner of Commerce Street and Tallapoosa Street, just a block from the museum. Metered parking along most streets costs $1 for two hours.
