To reach Komani Lake by car, drive towards Koman. From Shkodër, the journey is approximately 1.5 hours (60 km). From Tirana, the drive is about 3 hours (140 km). Be aware that the roads, especially the last stretch to Koman, are in poor condition with many potholes, so drive slowly. Parking is available near the ferry dock. However, it can get chaotic in the morning, so arrive early to find a space.

To get to Komani Lake using public transport, take a minibus from Shkodër or Tirana to Koman. From Shkodër, a minibus operated by Berisha departs at 6:30 am and costs around €8. From Tirana, the bus leaves at 5:30 am and costs about €12. These buses will drop you off in Koman near the ferry dock.
