Getting There

Car

From Gramsh, follow the main road northwest (SH71) and turn right at Drizë. The road through Drizë has some damage. After 1km, veer right at the intersection where there is a small and very faded sign indicating Holta Canyon, or Kabashit Cave. The road is new and in excellent condition until the final stretch. The last section is manageable in a 2WD. If you continue to the very end, you'll find shaded parking in front of the Holta Hydroelectric Power Station, as well as beside both restaurants located at the end of the road. Parking is free.
Public Transport

From Tirana, take a bus from the central bus terminal to Gramsh. The bus ride takes approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Gramsh, take a local taxi to Kanioni i Holtes. The taxi ride is about 30 minutes and may cost around 1500-2500 Lek for a one-way trip. Negotiate the price before starting the journey.
Walking

From the bus stop near Drizë on the SH89/SH71, it's a 10km hike along the road to get to the canyon. Follow the road until you reach the canyon entrance. Be prepared for a walk of approximately 20 minutes from Gramsh to Kanioni i Holtes.
