Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Delvina. Head north on the main road, SH4, towards Saranda. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the junction to merge onto SH99 towards Gjirokastër. Continue on SH99, following the signs for Saranda. After about 20 kilometers, you will see signs for the New Venetian Fortress. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads up to the fortress. There is a small parking area near the entrance where you can leave your car. Please note that you may need to pay a small fee for parking.

Public Transport
For those using public transportation, begin at the main bus station in Delvina. Look for a bus heading towards Saranda. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Saranda, you can take a local taxi or a minibus that heads towards the New Venetian Fortress. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and will cost around 5-10 Euros. If you prefer to walk, the fortress is about 5 kilometers from the bus station in Saranda, which will take roughly an hour on foot.

If you are already in the vicinity of the New Venetian Fortress and prefer to walk, you can access the fortress via a well-marked trail from the nearest bus stop or taxi drop-off point. The walk takes about 20-30 minutes and involves a gradual incline, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Follow the signs leading to the fortress. The scenic route offers beautiful views of the landscape.
